Our spirits are the result of a more than centennial tradition

and a quintessentially Italian culture of materials, which we have preserved with care.

The art of distillation

COOLING AND FILTRATION THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

The deep bond that unites us to the Franciacorta territory is expressed in one unique distillation method.
Here the flemma — that is, the base obtained from the pomace which, once distilled, will then become grappa — is brought down to a low temperature, then filtered for a second time.
This way, all impurities are eliminated even before the distillation starts.
The crystal clarity of the spirit is the distinctive note of our quality.

storia

Distillers
since 1901

The Distillerie Franciacorta brand, a historical heritage of the area where it is still active today, is also the story of a family: the Gozio Family.
The Gozios are an example of how the art of distilling, when rooted in a land and its people, becomes a noble art, expressing, along with flavours, values such as loyalty, work, and care for tradition.

Numbers for things that cannot be measured

VALUES SUCH AS THE HISTORY AND THE TRADITIONS OF A BRAND CANNOT BE MEASURED IN NUMBERS.

and that its products are among the most loved by consumers in Italy and around the world, becoming one of the hallmarks of Made in Italy products.

Did you know that wine has been made
in Franciacorta since Roman times?

The Latin authors who wrote about land and agriculture — Virgil, Pliny, Columella — knew these hills as a small vineyard paradise; indeed, archaeological research which has brought to light pre-Roman pips confirms Franciacorta as one of the most ancient wine territories in Italy and Europe.
